Brick Financial (about us) is a Registered Investment Advisor specializing in providing investment management services to individuals, families, organizations and institutions. We implement highly focused stock, bond, and balanced portfolios using an investment approach commonly referred to as
value investing. We can also serve your financial planning needs through our comprehensive Wealth Management program.
We are influenced by many great investment thinkers namely Benjamin Graham. Mr. Graham was a highly respected professor of finance (Columbia Business School) as well as an investment manager. Mr. Graham laid the foundation of our investment style in his seminal work, co-authored with David Dodd, Security Analysis (1934). Mr. Graham’s investment principles have influenced today’s most successful investors, including Warren Buffett. Although this investment philosophy has been known for three quarters of a century it is practiced by very few in the investment field. As a result, the portfolio of the value investing practitioner will be contrary to the portfolio of the typical investor. This contrarian condition provides superior performance results in the long term for patient and diligent investors.
We at Brick Financial consider ourselves your “Wealth Building Concierge”. In line with our Mission, it is our goal to manage your investments so that they might eventually increase your wealth. We do this by strictly adhering to our own Guiding Principles, following a value investment philosophy and avoiding the mistakes of the typical investor. This is not just lip service as we have a substantial portion of our own net worth invested in the portfolios we run thus aligning our interests with those of our clients.
Please feel free to explore our website to find out more about us, our philosophy, our performance, and our ethical standards. Also be sure to peruse our letters to our clients and our other commentary (articles, blog). Finally, we encourage you to join us on our quest toward wealth by becoming a client today. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
